@Deborah Helsing: Thanks so much for this post. I’d bookmarked it when it first came out, as I teach a graduate student course where such material would be relevant. Upon rediscovering the bookmark buried in a folder, I logged back in hoping to find further elaboration of the items you list as bullets. If you are still willing to share more about those points, it seems that I, along with the several people who posted above, are all very interested. In particular, I’d like to learn more about “sorting a pinch” and how you use it, and learning conversations.
